Right to Information Act 2005

Under the Right to Information Act, 2005, every citizen has the right to request and obtain information of public interest from Government institutions. The Act promotes transparency, accountability, and public participation in governance.

If the requested information is not provided within the prescribed time limit, or if the applicant is not satisfied with the information received, an appeal may be submitted to the Appellate Authority under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
